When I first left my life in Singapore behind, I felt like I had nothing left to contribute to the media landscape. At the time, I had spent 7 years of my early career building and growing Our Grandfather Story, a digital media publisher telling overlooked stories in Singapore and Southeast Asia. Together with three cherished co-founders turned friends, we grew a humble content brand into a media group – UNFOLD Asia, reaching over 5 million viewers monthly.

I am proud of our achievements, but on the inside, I was a mess.

I started the slow club when I first moved to Japan, a creative project documenting all pursuits slow and ordinary. After taking two years to reconnect with my work and personal values in the quiet Japanese countrysides, this content club now exists as an extension of the same philosophy, helping others who want to show up online intentionally, through a thoughtful, sustained content practice.

Social media evolves faster than ever, but its influence is here to stay. How might you tap on its potential to uplift your reputation meaningfully?
